Using the Engage Series and EHR Tutor to Improve Clinical Informatics Competence

New graduate nurses must use informatics and technology to guide clinical decisions. However, evidence shows barriers to using effective educational strategies to develop informatics competency in student nurses. One strategy is to incorporate the use of Academic Electronic Health Records throughout the curriculum. This session will help participants learn how to use the Engage Series and EHR Tutor to overcome barriers and increase students’ clinical informatics competence.
