Engaging with DEIB: Promoting Equity in Learning Products

In our commitment to promoting equity in nursing education, we embarked on a journey to focus on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) principles within the multimedia content in ATI’s Learning Products, including ATI Engage. This presentation will provide an overview of our collaboration with DEIB consulting partner, The Nova Collective. Attendees will gain insights into our selection of a consultant, the content audit process, the specific changes made in our content creation process, and our ongoing efforts to ensure that our learning materials are inclusive and representative of diverse populations. We will show examples of characters and scenarios in the videos, animations, and simulations both before and after the collaboration within ATI’s Learning Products.
