ATI Solutions to increase cultural diversity in nursing programs: Strategies to retain EAL students
Improved diversity in the nursing workforce necessitates a need to increase the number of EAL learners graduating from nursing programs. A review of literature and experience working with international students reveals challenges that contribute to high attrition rates among EAL students, and the need for nurse educators to be adept at providing support. This session will engage participants in integration strategies using ATI solutions to support retention of culturally diverse students.
