Alice Myers, PhD, MSN, RN
Alice Myers Ph.D., MSN, RN is a nurse educator for integration services at ATI Nursing Education. Alice holds a doctorate in Post-secondary Adult Education, with a research focus on the relationship between simulation and pre-licensure nursing student’s competence within the framework of the nursing process. Her past positions as a director of nursing at a pre licensure nursing program, as well as her adjunct faculty positions in BSN and MSN programs provides a wealth of experience. Alice has used ATI products for eight years, and has effectively utilized products in both a traditional and a concept based curriculum. Alice joined ATI Nursing because of the passion she has for the ATI learn, test, improve, apply products that enhance student outcomes and prepare students for NCLEX,. Nursing education requires active learning, with mentoring from faculty experts to assist beginning novice students on the path to advanced novice graduates. Alice has served on many state level councils, as well as national councils, including being the chair of the NJ Associate Degree Nursing Programs council for 6 years. In this role, she mentored new directors, as well as led state wide initiatives. She served on the NJ Board of Nursing subcommittee to revise the education regulations for the state, The New Jersey Nurse Initiative Transitions to Practice, the state collaborative Nursing Leadership committee and Organization of Associate Degree Nurses. Alice continues to adjunct for BSN completion and MSN courses, regularly facilitating advanced research, curriculum, leadership and advanced nursing theory courses. Alice is excited to share her knowledge and experience with faculty and program leadership.
