Pamela Roland, MSN, RN
Pamela Roland MSN, RN is a Manager, Nurse Educator with ATI Nursing. Pamela has been a nurse for 30 years working with primarily with pediatrics. Clinical experiences include inpatient, outpatient, and home health. Pamela started teaching nursing students in 2005 in an ADN program working in the nursing lab with simulation, clinical, and classroom. Professionally, Pamela has presented locally and nationally on simulation. In her current role at ATI Nursing, Pamela manages a team of Nursing Education Specialists who develop content for ATI’s assessments, review modules and many other products that ATI offers. Pamela has been employed with ATI for 5 years and demonstrates expertise in item development.
NormaJean Henry, MSN/Ed, RN
Norma Jean Henry MSN/ED, RN is a nursing education specialist for Ascend Learning. Norma Jean has worked in various clinical areas including adult medical-surgical, critical care, and mental health nursing. She entered into nursing education as a PN educator and has clinical and classroom experience teaching in PN, ADN, and BSN programs in Kansas and New York. She has worked with Ascend for the past 5 years and helps develop various ATI Nursing Education products including the PN and RN Content Mastery Series, Comprehensive Predictor and Real Life Video Series. She was recently the coordinator of the content review for the PN and RN Review Module publications and is a presenter for ATI at item writing workshops. Norma Jean currently lives in northeast Kansas with her husband, teenage son, teenage daughter, three dogs, and two cats. She enjoys attending her children’s many sports activities, cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs, and travelling whenever possible.
Lois Churchill, MN, RN
Lois Churchill MN, RN is a nurse educator with more than 30 years of experience, teaching at both the RN and PN level. She has been the director of two large nursing programs, the Hutchinson Community College Associate Degree Program (KS) and the Johnson County Community College Practical Nursing Program, Overland Park, KS. Lois also has experience in the regulatory arena of health care. She was the Associate Director of Nursing Practice for the Iowa Board of Nursing and the Bureau Chief for Professional Licensure for the Iowa Department of Public Health. During her tenure with the Board of Nursing, she successfully promoted legislation to pass the Nurse Licensure Compact in her state. As Bureau Chief for Professional Licensure, she was recognized as the Iowa Department of Public Leader of the Year. Lois was first introduced to writing NCLEX© style test items while serving on the National Council of State Boards of Nursing Item Writing Subcommittee. She has been a nursing education consultant since 2008 where she writes and reviews items for ATI Nursing assessments at both the RN and PN level. Lois enjoys providing consultation services for faculty across the nation on the topics of Item Writing, Item Analysis and Test Blueprinting.
