Karin Roberts, PhD, RN, CNE
Dr. Karin Roberts has more than 30 years of experience in nursing education. She earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nursing and a PhD in Education from the University of Kansas. She began her career in nursing education as an instructor at Research School of Nursing and actively participated in their transition from diploma education to baccalaureate and graduate education. Dr. Roberts served as Director of their Accelerated Program for Second Degree students for several years before joining ATI Nursing Education. She has extensive expertise in instructional strategies, curriculum and program development, and online education. Dr. Roberts remains an adjunct professor at Research College of Nursing, teaching online graduate courses in the nurse educator track. She also serves as a CCNE Accreditation Site Visitor and is a Certified Nurse Educator. Karin assisted with the development of the Curriculum Management and Articulation Program, or C-MAP, and has provided consultation services for a number of schools across the country. Dr. Roberts consults with all levels of programs, facilitates development and revision of curricula, supports schools transitioning to a concept-based curriculum, as well as guides the development of program evaluation plans and tools that prepare programs for state board review and accreditation.
