Jacquelyn McMillian-Bohler, PhD, CNM, CNE

Jacquelyn (Jacqui) McMillian-Bohler, PhD, CNM, CNE, is an Assitant Professor and the Director for Educational Excellence in the School of Nursing at Duke University. With more than twenty years of experience as a nurse educator, Dr. McMillian-Bohler is passionate about teaching and helping others achieve a masterful teacher practice. Her scholarship stems from her Master Teacher Model and includes numerous presentations and manuscripts related to faculty development, teaching & learning strategies, and supporting an inclusive learning environment. She is a Jonas Scholar Alumnus and has been recognized for excellence in clinical work by Vanderbilt University. In addition, Dr. McMillian-Bohler has been recognized for excellence in teaching by the American College of Nurse-Midwives, Kentucky African American Nurses Association, and Duke University School of Nursing.
