Michele Steinbeck

Michele Steinbeck, MNSc, RN, CNE, is currently the Director of Nursing for International and Provider Markets and Lead Nurse for She has more than 25 years of experience as a registered nurse with a clinical focus in critical care, emergency department, surgery, home health and medical-surgical nursing. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with a master’s degree focus on nursing administration and nursing education. She is NLN certified as a Nurse Educator. Prior to joining Ascend Learning (ATI Nursing) in 2012, she served as a faculty member in Arkansas. Steinbeck has served as an Integration Specialist and Nurse Educator Sales Support roles prior to her current role as the Director of Nursing for International and Provider Markets. Steinbeck is currently a doctoral student pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice.

Sandy Annesi

Sandy Annesi, DNP, MSN, BSN, is the Vice President for Post Graduate Programs at ATI Nursing Education. Managing a team with more than 350 nurse educators located remotely across the country, she oversees online and live review programs that provide services to assist nursing students in passing licensure exams and preparing for clinical practice with a 95%-99% success rate.

By listening to the needs of customers, she has successfully created and implemented products that are achieving excellent outcomes and are selling nationally and internationally to nursing and health care institutions.

Dr. Annesi has a Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from the University of North Florida, a Master of Science Degree from the University of Central Florida, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Her graduate degrees have a focus in Nursing Administration. She previously worked as a Tenured Professor of Nursing, an online RN-to-BSN Instructor, and held a variety of clinical and nurse management roles.

Kristina Burgess

Kristi Burgess, DNP, MSN, earned a Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville State University (JSU) and Doctorate of Nursing Practice from University of South Alabama (USA), She has more than 23 years of nursing experience with a focus in critical care, flight nursing, home health, and nursing education. Prior to joining ATI in 2009, she served on the nursing faculty of Jacksonville State University in the undergraduate and graduate programs. She is currently a Client Executive for International & Provider Markets. She is passionate about nursing education and the profession of nursing!

Tony Juve

Tony Juve, PhD, earned his doctorate in educational psychology with an emphasis on measurement, assessment, and statistics from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He joined the ATI Psychometrics team in 2008 and currently conducts research to support the technical integrity of Ascend Learning assessment products. Dr. Juve also teaches statistics in the graduate program at Mid-America Nazarene University. In his free time, he enjoys painting and fly fishing. His published work includes: “Use of the ATI Testing Policy and Its Impact on Nursing Program Outcomes,” “ATI’s Product Use Case Study: Using Educational Nursing Products to Achieve Strong Outcomes,” “Learning Strategies: Your Guide to Classroom and Test-Taking Success,” “Testing and Assessment.” He also has contributed to “21st Century Psychology: A Reference Handbook” “Test Construction,” Handbook of the Teaching of Psychology,” and “An Introduction to Statistics and Research Methods: Becoming a Psychological Detective.
