This session will focus on ATI Best Practices for planning and implementing post-grad resources to support students and maximize the benefits these resources are proven to deliver. Features and benefits of ATI’s Post-Grad resources. It also will highlight ATI Test-Taking Strategies Seminar, ATI Capstone Content Review, ATI Live Review, and Virtual ATI® NCLEX Review.

Session Objectives
Following this session, participants will learn how to:

  • Identify features and benefits of ATI Post-Grad Resources: ATI Test-Taking Strategies Seminar, ATI Capstone Content Review, ATI Live Review, and Virtual ATI© NCLEX Review
  • Give examples of ways to support student and program success with ATI Post-Grad Resources
  • Demonstrate how ATI Post-Grad Resources can be effectively integrated into nursing curriculum to support student and program success
  • Develop a plan to follow best practices in planning and implementing the ATI Test-Taking Strategies Seminar, ATI Capstone Content Review, and NCLEX preparation: Live Review and Virtual-ATI Review.

Japonica Morris

Japonica Morris, ED.D, MSN, RN, is a Regional Live Review Manager for ATI Nursing. She is a member of a dynamic team that delivers high-quality NCLEX reviews for PN and RN graduates. She maintains an active role in teaching live NCLEX reviews and Test-Taking Strategies Seminars. Dr. Morris has more than 10 years of experience in nursing education and combines her expertise in leadership, classroom teaching, and faculty development in her current role. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International and the American Nurses Association.

Teresa LaFave

Teresa M LaFave, NP, MS, RN, is the Northeast Regional Manager of NCLEX Live Review for ATI Nursing. She leads a dynamic team of nurse educators who conduct Test Taking Strategies Seminars and NCLEX RN and PN Live Review Courses that exceed customer satisfaction. LaFave collaborates within the department and across departments to secure customer confidence in ATI solutions. She was the 2017 ATI President’s Award recipient for her exceptional customer service. She brings more than 20 years of NCLEX Live Review, product development, and nursing education experience to ATI. LaFave’s passion for making a difference continues through a Scholarship Fund she established for adult learners who are Practical Nurses pursuing their RN degrees.

Susan Yowler

Susan Yowler, MSN, RN, CNE, holds a Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in nursing education from St. Joseph’s College of Maine and has been an NLN Certified Nurse Educator since 2013. She has taught in traditional and online environments in PN/LVN, ADN, and BSN programs.

Yowler has a keen interest in student-centered learning and the use of remediation to improve nursing knowledge. She has presented workshops on active teaching/learning strategies at ATI’s National Nurse Educator Summit since 2013.

Since joining ATI in 2012, Yowler has worked with nursing programs across the United States, assisting with maximizing the benefits of ATI supplemental resources to improve student and program outcomes by analyzing ATI-related program data and suggesting specific methods of integration of ATI resources.

In her role as regional manager for Virtual ATI NCLEX Review and ATI Capstone Content Review, Yowler uses her expertise to assist and support nursing programs to maximize the benefits that our end-of-program and NCLEX reviews are proven to deliver.
