Student retention is a growing problem in nursing programs today. Understanding how you can help students be successful in nursing is essential. There are many internal and external factors that cause students to leave their program in the beginning courses. According to Iheduru-Anderson & Foley (2022) Prelicensure nursing education is one of the most stressful programs in higher education. Are policies and expectations too rigorous?
