Assessment and Evaluation in Nursing Education: Of Students and Teacher
This session examines various assessment methods for use in nursing education (including questions, 1-minute Q&A, integrated cases, short written assignments, and use of simulation for assessment) with a summary of selected research studies on their effectiveness. The session also will include a synthesis of research on student evaluations of the teacher and discussion of implications for nursing faculty.

- Identify assessment decisions and methods useful for assessment in nursing courses
- Describe evidence on student evaluations of teaching and implications for nurse educators.
