Call for Abstracts
The abstract submission window for Summit 2025 has closed.
The 2025 National Nurse Educator Summit will focus on the critical issues facing healthcare and nursing education today, with topics to help educators prepare students. New this year, we are also seeking abstract topics applicable to Advance Practice Nurse Educators.
Our focus is on concrete strategies that will:
- better prepare students for practice in the clinical setting
- provide nurse educators with teaching tools and strategies
- equip program leaders to manage curricula, faculty, and students
- recruit and support nurse educators in their roles, work, and lives.
Abstracts must describe completed projects, and all work should be original.
Abstracts may take the following forms:
- Evidence-Based Best Practice or Teaching Strategy Abstract: Abstract representing an educational process, strategy, teaching or practice innovation that represents a change leading to achievement of a desired outcome or meeting a benchmark for nursing education and/or student learning outcomes. Include example/s of implementation and evaluation of the practice or strategy.
- Educational Research Abstract: Abstract representing a complete educational research study, which includes an introduction to the overall topic including purpose, a brief review of the study, following by key take-home strategies for educators, based on the research. The study may be any one of the following:
- Qualitative
- Quantitative
- Mixed Methods

E-poster presentation: digital poster with 15 minute podium presentation

Standard poster presentation: physical poster with exhibit hall presentation times
In order to be accepted, you must be willing and able to attend the 2025 National Nurse Educator Summit in person in Orlando on April 22-25, 2025.
- Accepted 60 and 90 minute breakout session speakers will receive complementary conference registration and a hotel room for the night(s) of their speaking obligation, plus a stipend for travel.
- Accepted E-Poster presenters will receive complementary conference registration only.
- Accepted Poster presenters will receive 25% off conference registration only.

- Abstract Submissions Due: October 4, 2024
- Acceptance/Rejection Notifications Given: October 25, 2024
- Speaker Acceptance Needed By: November 8, 2024
- Preliminary Presentation Information Due: November 29, 2024
- Final Presentation Due: January 10, 2025
- Event Dates: April 22-25, 2025
