In this presentation, attendees will learn about the most recent ATI product outcomes research. Presenters will review work published or in-press, research projects planned for 2017 and provide an overview of where to find research resources on the ATI Website.
Dr. Michelle Dunham is the Senior Research Scientist at Assessment Technologies Institute. As a specialist in educational research and measurement, Dr. Dunham has 12 years’ experience publishing and presenting in the fields of nursing education and K-12 education. Dr. Dunham has played a key role in the development of assessments, tutorials, and predictive models that have improved hundreds of thousands of nursing students’ academic & professional careers. Dr. Dunham has authored and presented multiple nursing student education research studies and has directly consulted on research design, data analysis, and interpretation of findings for over 150 faculty or graduate nursing students using ATI data in their research.
Dr. Christine Mills is the Directory of Research and Applied Psychometrics at Ascend. Chris has worked in the field of psychometrics implementing program and validation study designs for K12, college admissions and health care assessment programs for over a decade. She has been instrumental in leading work for clients and teams of psychometricians to implement modern test designs and to complete studies necessary to provide evidence of validity for assessment score use. She has presented and published work on the use of computers and other electronic devices in testing and transitioning assessment programs computer adaptive methods. During her career she has also implemented the use of artificial intelligence scoring for computer based tests, and completed work validating the use of AI models in scoring high stakes tests.
