Kathleen B. Hill, JD, MSN, RN
Kathleen B. Hill, JD, MSN, RN has over 40 years of experience in nursing, nursing education, accreditation, regulatory compliance, and the practice of law. Ms. Hill completed her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in nursing at The Ohio State University and received a Juris Doctor degree from The Capital University School of Law, both in Columbus, Ohio. She has experience teaching in associate, baccalaureate, and master degree nursing programs. Her nursing education program administration experience includes positions as Program Director, Director of Accreditation, Senior Director of Accreditation and Professional Regulation, and Vice President of Nursing. She also served as Nursing Education Consultant for the Ohio Board of Nursing. Ms. Hill practiced transactional healthcare law in a large law firm and served as Authorized House Counsel for a surgical ambulatory healthcare facility. She has made presentations on numerous topics, including nursing, law, regulatory compliance, and institutional and programmatic accreditation. Throughout her career, Ms. Hill has provided service to a variety of professional and community organizations, including an appointment in 2014 and 2015, to the Standards Committee, which developed the accreditation standards for the newly established National League for Nursing Commission on Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Ms. Hill lives with her husband in the Tampa Bay, Florida area.
